  • Specific Responsibilities

    • Attend FDR meetings, issue fabric order request, track development yardage
    • Work with designer and associate designer on embellishment layouts send out packages to oversees vendors
    • Revise embellishment layouts for production
    • Assist Designer and Associate Designer in updating sketches, issues line sheet revisions
    • Responsible for local send-outs: overdyes, garment washing, embroidery.
    • Issue purchase orders
    • Issue cutting tickets and pattern numbers – including fabric and trim swatches and DP code
    • Issue and follow up on tailoring requests
    • Keep master line sheet books up to date
    • Set up design cards and make corrections as necessary
    • Tag and organize red tag line
    • Order trim for duplicate samples
    • Request patterns from marking and grading
    • Work closely with product development operations on duplicate sample follow up
    • Communicate daily with local and overseas vendors
    • Source and develop trims
    • Organize sample and trim closets
    • Filing
    • Scanning sketches

    Skills and Requirements

    Competencies

    • Good team player
    • Strong organizational and follow up skills

     

    Education and/or Experience

    • At least 1 year of experience
    • Design degree required
