  • Specific Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Track all future open Purchase Orders for designated salesperson/Customers.
    • May involve International Order Management. i.e., understanding US customs regulations.
    • Prepares correspondence to Sales, customers and other internal departments.
    • Proactive in communicating issues to Sales that may impact timely delivery of orders.
    • Processes and manages customer orders through shipment.
    • Liaison for Sales in resolving any customer shipping issues.
    • Analyzes and resolves customer concerns using established procedures.
    • Daily run of Customer Service reports to ensure ability to ship complete.
    • Gain expertise on reporting options with the ability to explain and consult with Sales based on reporting information.
    • Ad hoc tasks or assignments as required.
    • Understands the importance of Customer and Salesperson priorities and goals.
    • Understands the terminology of customer shipping compliance guides and logistics.
    • Able to understand and interpret EDI Purchase Orders including the validation process.
    • Highly organized individual, able to keep accurate documentation.

    • Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Understands corporate processes, goals, initiatives and financial targets

     

     

    Education and/or Experience

    • College degree preferred. Requires a High School diploma and minimum 2 years of experience in apparel or Customer Service field. College degree or course work is considered in lieu of experience.

     

     

    Computer Skills

    • Microsoft proficient. Preference for knowledge of ACS or other ERP systems.
