  • Specific Responsibilities

    • Pick-up and delivery of all Inter Office Mail for Fruitland and Soto
    • Pick up prepared and scheduled transfers from offices to be loaded on transfer truck
    • Deliver transfers received at Fruitland
    • Receiving: all carriers including but not limited to UPS, FedEx and DHL by logging in all packages received into Hassler system via handheld scanners
    • Deliver all received misc. carrier packages/parcels to Fruitland Corporate Associates
    • Receive, open, sort and deliver all in-coming mail pack from retail stores to specified departments at Fruitland and Soto
    • Transfer all RTV’s received at Fruitland docks back to Leonis sending an excel sheet of the tracking numbers to the Leonis DC team.
    • Prepare all consolidated International parcels to factories once collected from all departments by filling out commercial invoice per each consolidation, saving tracking information and responding to requests from associates needing the tracking number.
    • Answer inquiries from associates asking for signature of whoever signed for a package that was already received by emailing the signature that is captured by associates when delivering parcels.
    • Stamp all outgoing mail for U.S. mail in the Hassler system
    • Receive all employee purchases and clothing allowances, separate those that are to remain at corp, those being consolidated and shipped to NYSR and those being delivered to LASR and PRSR by messenger and delivery.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Be able to communicate well with all associates with a calm and patient demeanor
    • Able to adapt to all job functions of the Corp Mail/Shipping department
    • Use of scanners, box cutters, hand trucks and pallet trucks correctly
    • Firm grasp of the English language, Spanish speaking is a plus but not a requirement
