Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for leading his/her team of Associates and Assistants in recognizing current trends and developing corresponding initiatives to create and fulfill market demands. Achieve Sales and Margin objectives for seasonal buying plans.
Responsible for reaching overall team project financial objectives.
Develop seasonal merchandising strategies and prioritize tasks to support market strategy.
Develop business strategies to outline strengths, weaknesses, new opportunities and risk to current business.
Recognize potential opportunities and inquire and research product feasibility.
Perform market analysis to define and assess current trends.
Regularly attend line adoption meetings in order to assort to market specific needs.
Continually assess target market to identify and react to trends.
Consistently evaluate business module and identify demands and potential products to fill those niches.
Facilitate strong working relationship between sales, cross functional teams and management.
Partner with Planning and Merchandising to ensure the development of appropriate assortment plans.
Is considered knowledgeable and accessible by all employees.
Confronts and addresses performance issues or conflicts timely and consistently.
Uses good judgment and makes necessary decisions within the Company’s established guidelines
